About the Founder
After working at some of the largest fragrance houses in the world on - luxury, niche and commercial brands across fine fragrance, body care and home care - Dana opted for a complete lifestyle change. So, she left bustling NYC for the sun-drenched, slower pace of Barbados. Along with her dog, Bruno, she brought her enthusiasm for meaningful connections, desire for collaboration and knowledge of fragrance… soon after, Candle Studio BB was born.
Dana wants to share her love of ingredients, so others can benefit. She enjoys working as a team to bring client ideas to life. “Fragrance is special, it is subjective, and it can take you to another moment in time.” - she quotes.
When Dana isn’t making candles, she is involved with animal welfare, social justice and women empowerment!

We believe that every candle tells a story. From the raw materials we choose to the fragrance blends we create, everything is rooted in authenticity and intention. Our goal is simple: to build community through scent—celebrating the beauty of difference, shared spaces, and meaningful moments.
Our candles are non-toxic and ethically made using 100% soy wax, cotton wicks and contain No Pthalates, No Parabens and No Formaldehyde
